Jetted Bathtubs: De-stressing with a Jetted Bathtub By Mesha Parks
Stress is a person’s enemy. It can cause tension, anxiety, migraine and a lot more. That’s why unwinding and de-stressing yourself after a long day at work is very important. A relaxing bath in a jetted bathtub is a great way to end a stressful day.
Jetted bathtubs offer the maximum relaxation that you can get when bathing. Because of their massage jets that work on your body like little fingers, they improve blood circulation, help your muscles relax, and ease body pain. These are the reasons why these kinds of bathtubs are gaining popularity in homes and spas all over the world.
There are basically two kinds of jetted tubs: air jet tubs and water jet tubs. However, each one has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Air Jet Tubs
These jets push air to force water which massages your body. You can also use bubble bath products, bath oils and/or bath salts for a bubblier bath or a more scented bath water. The only downside with air jets is that they make water get cold faster, as compared to water jets, because of the constant air that is being pushed into the water.
Water Jet Tubs
Jetted bathtubs with water jets push water into the water, and usually have strong forces than air jets. They give stronger massages and have better circulation. The water keeps on circulating through the jets, thus making the water retain its warmness longer than the air jet tubs. However, bath salts and bubble bath products cannot be used with these kinds of tubs because they might block the jets. They also need more cleaning, although there are some models available which have self-cleaning systems.
When choosing the right jetted bathtub for you, always consider your needs. If you are the person who prefers stronger massages for your body, then you’d probably be better with the water jet tubs. However, if you are someone who loves bubbly baths, scented baths or prefers to use various bath oils, then air jet tubs are definitely for you. Whichever kind of jets you might choose, you’d still end up getting that invigorating, refreshing and de-stressing bath that you can get from these jetted bathtubs.
